Stay longer, worry less
Here’s how hotels in Bangkok and Singapore are gearing up to welcome guests with a strict hygiene protocol.
As Thailand reopens its border this month, hotel groups such as Anantara have been busy ramping up their health and hygiene protocols. Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel was recently announced as the first Anantara hotel in Thailand to receive Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certification from Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The group’s Stay with Peace of Mind programme is also enforced in all of its properties. From the moment guests check-in until the moment they check-out, extra measures are constantly taken based on guidelines from Ecolab and Diversey, global leaders in cleaning and hygiene technology. The enhanced level of sanitation uses Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved disinfectants throughout all public areas.
Meanwhile, Fairmont Singapore was recently recognised as the first Accor LUXE hotel in Asia Pacific to achieve the brand’s global cleanliness and hygiene ALLSAFE label. It has also been certified as a SG Clean establishment by the Singapore Tourism Board, the National Environment Agency and Enterprise Singapore.
As Singapore is gearing up for recovery, the hotel’s commitment in prioritising the safety and well-being of guests and its colleagues provide the much-needed assurance and confidence in the era of New Normal. Accor ALLSAFE global cleanliness & hygiene standards have been developed with Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspections and certification. All the Group’s hotels must apply these standards and will be audited either by Accor operational experts or by third-party auditors such as Bureau Veritas to receive the ALLSAFE label.
Fairmont Singapore with its audiovisual partner, Encore, has also prepared a set of ALLMeetSafe guidelines, to be implemented in meetings and events. The guidelines comprise meeting formats, equipment packages, and recommendations that address how to reduce risk and safeguard well-being within the meeting space for events clients and their guests.
