Enticing Chef Collaboration and Ramadan Specials to Look Forward at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali
Be it a gastronomic Kolaborasa experience or baked goods hampers, create a memorable Ramadan at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali this year.
In the spirit of togetherness, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, prepares a bountiful of Ramadan offerings from Iftar set menu to chef collaboration. All are thoughtfully designed to set a rewarding moment to be shared at the end of the fasting day.
The resort is appointing its newly revamped beachfront restaurant, Ikan, to host a flavourful gastronomic collaboration between Ikan’s chef de cuisine Fajar Kurniawan and Yogyakarta’s talented chef Mili Hendratno of Mil’s Kitchen Yogyakarta. Ramadan Kolaborasa will be available to cater to diners’ appetites on 18 April 2023. Be sure to reserve and join this tasty culinary journey.
Diners can expect abundant Indonesian-inspired dishes, local ingredients and freshly-caught seafood. Expect to be blown by the full-bodied flavours courtesy of chef Mili’s culinary skills that have crowned him the 1st Winners Chef Challenge 2019— a culinary competition in Yogyakarta International Food and Hospitality Expo, as well as many more prestigious accolades.
His prowess is also recognised through his Yogyakarta’s restaurant fervent followers that are loyal to the appetising sustenance he serves at the restaurant. From traditional-styled Truffle Singkong Keju to Western favourite Escargot, chef Mili garners the attention of the heritage city’s discerning gourmet. He has also done some notable kitchen take over across the country to share his chef d’ouevres with a broader audience. This time, Nusa Dua seashore is where he is headed.
Hand in hand with Kurniawan, Hendratno will entice diners in Ramadan Kolaborasa through an exquisite five-course menu. Smoked Bebek Madura, Barramundi Tinorasak, and US Short Ribs Curry Aceh will be at the forefront of the Indonesian delicacies served at the restaurant.
Guests can also book a table for their Iftar feast, as the resort’s Food and Beverage trots out a special ‘Buka Puasa’ menu throughout the Ramadan season until 23 April 2023 at Ikan. Highlights are Octopus Mangut, Gulai Ikan Kakap, Beef Top Blade Tangkar, Bebek Rembang to savour, and the warm and sweet glasses of Coconut Skoteng.
Another collaboration is also in motion at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, as the executive pastry chef Antonio Yang and local pastry maker, RAIA, work together to craft the best hampers to convey gratitude and love for Ramadan and Eid season. Highlighting baked goods with no preservatives and no artificial flavours, the exquisite hampers at the resort’s Lobby Lounge & Bar are not to be missed. Complete the Ramadan experience with a night stay or two while the resort offers a special rate of Rp2,000,000/room, including breakfast for two.
