Three chefs. Two nights. One unforgettable journey. The highly-anticipated Michelin-Starred Italian Affair at Alto Restaurant & Bar, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta on 17 and 18 May will be a one-of-a-kind feast.

The hotel’s executive chef Marco Violano and executive pastry chef Lorenzo Sollecito will be joined by chef Alessandro Bellingeri from Osteria Acquarol. Situated in the heart of San Michele, a village near Italy’s Trentino Mountains, the one Michelin-starred restaurant has been known for its modern take on Italian cuisine while remaining deeply rooted in its region and terroir.

Guests will be given a choice of a six- or seven-course tasting menu. Each tasting menu will be impeccably served in the sumptuous dining room of Alto at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta’s 20th floor. Amid the city’s sparkling skyline, embark on a flavourful journey from the north to the south of Italy. Having known each other for over 20 years, Violano and Bellingeri’s friendship and culinary backgrounds will undoubtedly create delicious magic in the kitchen and on the table.  “We’re very excited to take our guests on an Italian journey that will not only captivate their senses but also touch their souls,” adds Violano.

Highlights are Angel Hair Carbonara “Acquarol” Style; Chilean Sea Bass with Cuttlefish Ink and Siberian Caviar; and Charred Wagyu Short Ribs, Broccoli, Chimichurri, Horseradish. Expect a delicate pairing from Barbanera, an award-winning winery from Italy. Agnese Barbanera will be present to introduce the curated wines from her family-run estate.
