Exclusively available on 23 and 24 August 2024, expect a seamless confluence of haute cuisine from two chefs on top of their game. La Cime, a two-starred Michelin dining establishment in Osaka, has been making a reputation for its modern take on French cuisine imbued with a distinct touch of Japan. The restaurant was ranked #6 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022 list.

Deeply rooted in Amami Ōshima island, a small island to the south of Kyushu where he was born and Osaka, chef Yusuke Takada incorporates traditional Japanese ingredients such as tofu skin, wasabi, miso, and nori into his creation. Meanwhile, chef Luca Fantin and resident chef Alessandro Mazzali’s immaculate combination of contemporary Italian cuisine with high-quality local and seasonal ingredients continue to impress food aficionados, whether they dine in Bali or at the top of the sister restaurant at Bulgari Ginza Tower in Tokyo.

“My cuisine is simple. It is about embracing the seasons, which means using seasonal ingredients, and approaching their core to bring out their flavours, not to cover or change them,” says Fantin.

Highlights of the eight-course tasting menu are Fiore di zucca e ricci di mare (zucchini flower and sea urchin), Spaghetti freddi alla bottarga e burro affumicato (cold spaghetti, bottarga and smoked butter), Kiwami Wagyu striploin 9+ (beef, eggplant, ginger, black garlic), and Kuzumochi (cucumber, coconut milk, cucamelon).

The Four Hands Dinner will start at 6pm with a sunset cocktail at Bvlgari Resort Bali’s panoramic bar,  followed by dinner at 7 pm at Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin. An option for a premium wine pairing is available.
