Air CCCC
Air CCCC’s breakfast concept, aptly dubbed Sun(rise) on the Lawn, is one worth waking up early for. Enjoy a laid-back outdoor breakfast with handcrafted bakes like Chocolate Babka, Kenari Nut Sticky Bun, and Calamansi Lime Bar, alongside Maxi Coffee, kombucha, and cold-pressed juices. Available Friday to Sunday, 8 AM – 12 PM, the pet-friendly Lawn is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the morning (if it doesn’t rain).
Otherwise, a cosy indoor breakfast experience is available too. The menu offers light options like Annie’s yogurt, overnight oats, and fresh fruit, alongside hearty dishes such as smoked chicken on gula apong toast, and fermented potato croquette. Pair your meal with a pour-over coffee or loose-leaf tea, or opt for the Breakfast Bundle for a complete experience. Reservations are recommended for indoor dining.
Toby’s Estate
For those who must have their early morning caffeine fix, head to Toby’s Estate ‘s flagship store at Robertson Quay. Sidle up to the interactive Filter and Espresso bars, where friendly baristas share an extensive coffee programme of seven unique coffees from around the world each month.
A key highlight here is the Freezus menu, featuring high-end coffee frozen at its peak. Australian cafe favourites take centre stage on the food menu, with hearty items such as The Brekkie of Champions, brimming with eggs, maple bacon, vine tomatoes, roast mushrooms, baked beans, sidecar sausage, and brioche toast. The Surf & Turf Tower combines a smoked salmon tower with stewed beef, scrambled eggs and a velvety hollandaise sauce on an English muffin, while the Aussie Burger features homemade Australian beef patties, bacon, cheddar, and choice of sauce. The cafe at 8 Rodyk Street (facing the river) opens at 7.30am.
Toma
Also in the Robertson Quay neighbourhood is Toma which offers a laid back, pet-friendly setting ideal for weekend brunches with family, friends, and your furry, four-legged companions. The restaurant’s cosy, outdoor terrace overlooks the river, complemented by a healthy breakfast menu of modern European staples.
Pancakes with blueberry compote and maple syrup and Nutella waffles with ice cream are available for diners who prefer something sweet to kick start their mornings. Hot mains are equally satisfying with items like Smashed Avocado served with feta cheese and cherry tomato salsa on sourdough toast, as well as Shakshuka, tomato-baked eggs enriched with capsicum and cumin. Diners get free coffee with their breakfast from 7.30 am onwards.
