GIA
When it comes to a classic Valentine’s Day date, you can’t go wrong with an Italian touch. This year, GIA is calling all lovebirds to enjoy the four-course “Mio San Valentino” dinner (Rp850,000) by Chef Tommaso Gonfiantini. The menu starts with an Aragosta e Burrata appetizer, which plates Brittany lobster, burrata cheese, caviar and puffed rice crackers, followed by Linguine Pasta served with beetroot, hazelnut and buffalo ricotta. For the the main course you can either go with a Wagyu Beef Short Ribs balanced with beet leaf, cauliflower and pickled mustard, or a Black Cod Fish with beet leaf, cauliflower, capers and anchovies. The sweet finish is a Mascarpone Mousse served with rhubarb and strawberry compote, meringue and beet crumble. Due to limited capacity, advanced booking is recommended.

Celebrating the most romantic day of the year, Gran Melia offers a variety of dining destinations to make your day. If your partner is picky with food, fear not, for at Café Gran Via, executive chef Ingo Oldenburg has prepared a special buffet menu showcasing plenty of international favourites accompanied by romantic tunes, beautiful flower arrangements and other love-themed paraphernalia. Available at Rp355,000, some of the dishes you’ll get to taste include Alaskan Crab, Oysters House Smoked with salmon and Sturia caviar and Roasted Lamb Racks.
For a more East Asian spin, Yoshi Izakaya Japanese Restaurant will be transformed to a dreamy venue to host an intimate four-course dinner that includes delicacies such as a selection of Zensai Sanshu and Chicken & kinoko foilyaki Soup. Available for only ten lucky couples at Rp788,000 per person.
