The World Gourmet Summit (WGS) marks its 20th year with an impressive lineup of masterclasses and dining experiences.

Over at Le Bistrot du Sommelier, winner of prestigious Rising Chef of the Year in 2014, Brandon Foo, presents classic French cuisine in 'A 10 Year Kitchen Affair'. This special five-course menu celebrates his 10th year as a professional chef and pays homage to his Michelin-starred chef mentors, each who have contributed to his success path. The exquisite dishes are paired with French wines that include the Clos de Brusquières Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Reservée 2007, an uncommon wine produced in limited quantities. 30 March. Another highlight to lookout for is 'Secrets and Magic of Extra Virgin Olive Oil', a partnership between Gattopardo Ristorante and Ellen Wu, an internationally certified olive oil specialist from Taiwan. The five-course menu showcases unique characteristics of a range of olive oils, including chef Lino Sauro's specialty oil that is pressed from the fruit of his family's olive trees in Sicily. 28 March. $158, including wine pairings. 34/36 Tras Street.
