A Balinese Tribute: Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach Celebrates 8th Anniversary

Now in its eighth year of delivering memorable hospitality, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach marks the anniversary with a heartfelt celebration that spotlights the island’s diverse charms. Through a curated visual storytelling series across its social media platforms, the hotel will highlight all eight regencies and one city of Bali, sharing tales from Buleleng to Badung that reflect the vibrant heritage and lush landscapes that continue to shape the Seminyak resort today.

In line with its Brand Service Culture that champions creativity, individuality, and discovery, the milestone embraces Bali’s cultural richness. Each story, told by the hotel’s dedicated Neighbourhood Hosts, will offer a closer look at different parts of the island, inspiring guests for their next tropical escape.

“Celebrating our 8th amazing year, we chose to spotlight our connection with the nature, culture, and communities that inspire our journey and core values in running the hotel’s operation,” explains Andreas Bergel, the general manager of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach and area general manager for IHG Indonesia. “Each regency and city in Bali represent a different personality of our resort; vibrant, uniquely different, and proudly rooted in the neighbourhood stories.”

The visual storytelling series began this month, coinciding with the hotel’s anniversary on 16 June, and will run until the end of the year. The story unfolds with Badung’s globally renowned surf culture, followed by Gianyar’s traditional artistry and craftsmanship. In Jembrana, the spotlight turns to the spirited Makepung buffalo races, while Klungkung features the intricate beauty of endek textile painting.

Nature takes centre stage in Bangli’s misty highlands–home of the famed Kintamani oranges, while Buleleng offers an aromatic escape through local coffee traditions. In Tabanan, terraced rice paddies invite guests to reconnect with nature through trekking. The journey culminates in Denpasar with a special music collaboration featuring local Balinese musicians.

In tandem with the anniversary, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach embraces a spirit of giving back as part of its ongoing social responsibility efforts. Initiatives include visits to local orphanages, environmental clean-ups, and community donations.
