Amarterra Villas Resort Bali Unveils Timeless Festivities for Christmas and New Year 2026

The festive season takes on a distinctly Balinese character at Amarterra Villas Resort Bali Nusa Dua, Autograph Collection, where Timeless Festivities brings together seasonal dining, cultural performances and intimate gatherings from Christmas Eve through the first day of 2027. Set within the resort’s village-inspired surroundings, the programme offers a considered alternative to conventional holiday celebrations, with an emphasis on meaningful moments shared over food, music and local traditions.

The celebrations begin on 24 December with Christmas Eve festivities at the Pool Terrace, where Christmas carols, a special appearance by Santa Claus and a dance performance by the resort’s team set the tone for the evening. Complimentary cocktails and canapés precede a four-course festive dinner at Maja Restaurant, accompanied by live acoustic music. On Christmas Day, the restaurant continues the celebrations with a family-style dinner and a Duo Electone performance, bringing guests together over a relaxed evening of shared dining.

As the year draws to a close, the programme shifts towards the coast. On 28 December, Amarterra by the Bay, the resort’s private beach, becomes the setting for a Year End Beach BBQ featuring premium meats and fresh seafood. The seaside gathering offers a more laid-back way to mark the final days of the year, with the shoreline providing a natural backdrop for an evening centred on good food and convivial company.

Balinese heritage takes centre stage on 29 December with Balinese Festive Night at Candra Suriya Gate. The evening pairs a festive dining experience with traditional Balinese dance, offering guests an opportunity to engage with the island’s cultural traditions through performance and cuisine.

The following evening, on 30 December, Year End Indonesian Flavours celebrates the archipelago’s culinary diversity through a rijsttafel experience, accompanied by live Batak music. The traditional shared-dining format brings an assortment of Indonesian flavours to the table, creating a fitting tribute to the country’s rich regional food culture.

For New Year’s Eve on 31 December, festivities begin with a pre-dinner cocktail at Candra Suriya Gate before moving to Maja Restaurant for a family-style dinner. Live music, DJ performances and a countdown to 2027 provide the evening’s soundtrack, while festive games, performances by the resort’s team and special giveaways add to the celebrations. Prizes include dining and spa vouchers, alongside a grand prize of a complimentary two-night stay.

The holiday programme continues into the new year with First Flavours of 2027 on 1 January. Held at Amarterra by the Bay, the relaxed seaside dinner is accompanied by live keroncong music, introducing the year with the nostalgic sounds of this traditional Indonesian musical genre.

Beyond its calendar of festive events, Timeless Festivities reflects the resort’s approach to hospitality, where Balinese influences inform both the setting and the guest experience. The property features 42 private-pool villas inspired by traditional Balinese village architecture, while Maja Restaurant and the resort’s outdoor spaces provide settings for gatherings that balance privacy with a sense of community.

For travellers planning a Christmas or New Year escape in Nusa Dua, the programme offers several ways to celebrate the season, whether through a traditional festive dinner, a beachfront barbecue or an evening immersed in Balinese and Indonesian culture.
