Open only for in-house guests, the illuminating event conjures the yuletide spirits with a special performance from a church’s children choir, Santa Claus and his elves’ appearances, the launch of Meliá Bali’s choo choo train as well as cookies and cocktails for the guests. 

All aboard the merry Meliá Express choo choo train! During your stay throughout the festive season, take the little ones on a journey with the cheerful red wagon. Available daily from 10am -12pm and 1pm to 7pm, the merry red train makes its way around the lobby. Priced at Rp75,000/nett/person.

The resort also offers a myriad of family-friendly activities. On 21 and 23 December, sign up to the Cookies Decoration session at Sorrento Restaurant. Available for in-house guests at Rp250,000/nett/person, it is a good and delicious way to spend time with the precious ones. Check out the kids’ activities programme on 24 and 25 December. There are treasure hunting, Christmas Carols, movie screenings, magic show, Santa Parade, and gift-giving around the resort. 

On 24 December, Meliá Bali invites you to dine, drink and be merry at its four restaurants. The Magical Christmas Eve Buffet at El Patio Restaurant comes with a tasty classic spread, a church’s children choir performance, live music, and a magic show. Rp850,000/person (incl. water and soft drink)

For a more serene celebration, head to Sorrento Restaurant for a scrumptious four-course dinner with a violin serenade. Rp950,000/person.

Alternatively, a Balinese feast is yours to be had at Lotus Restaurant. Savour a four-course tasting menu, made of locally-sourced produce while enjoying the lively Balinese dance performance. Rp780,000/person.
