Celebration of Culinary Arts by The Apurva Kempinski Bali Returns with Sweet Indulgences
Create unforgettable sweet moments at this month's Celebration of Culinary Arts at The Apurva Kempinski Bali.
The Apurva Kempinski Bali storms back onto the scene with its star-studded Celebration of Culinary Arts series. This time, the resort welcomes another culinary maestro, chef Philippe Rigollot, into its sprawling sanctuary for three momentous collaborations with its resident chefs in August.
The resort has run this series of gastronomic events since the beginning of 2024, with prominent names gracing its restaurants. Together with the resort’s culinary masters, these events showcase world-class culinary professionals’ refined artistry and meticulous craftsmanship, culminating in extraordinary dining experiences that redefine culinary excellence. This collaboration has been the island’s most coveted dining event, and this month’s offerings are even more enticing for discerning foodies, with chef Philippe Rigollot joining the event.
Chef Rigollot is a renowned French pâtissier and chocolatier whose crafts are widely recognised and celebrated in the industries. His apprenticeship in Mr. Reverdy’s laboratory concluded with a pastry chef’s CAP at the CFA in Evry in 1989 and a pastry master’s certificate at the CFA in Versailles two years later. His exceptional culinary artistry has earned him prestigious accolades, including the World Champion of Pastry title in 2005 and the coveted Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2007.
Through this event, diners can experience the pinnacle of gastronomy as he collaborates with the resort’s Koral executive chef, Jean-Baptiste Natali, for the dinner event and MOF (1996) executive sous chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer for afternoon tea and brunch sessions at the resort’s dining venues.
Set Menu Dinner at Koral Restaurant
The Apurva Kempinski Bali begins this month’s Celebration of Culinary Arts with a six-course set menu dinner at the iconic Koral Restaurant on 15 August. Sweet and Savoury Collaboration at Selasar Deli
The collaboration event proceeds with all-you-can-eat afternoon tea sessions at Selasar Deli on 16 and 17 August. Executive sous chef Leuranger and Rigollot harmonise their culinary expertise, presenting sweet and savoury treats to complement the tea and coffee.
