Yo-Chi Yogurt

Fresh in from Australia, Yo-Chi Yogurt has set up shop at #01-06 Orchard Central. Here, it’s all about DIY, inviting diners to grab a cup, swirl their own frozen yoghurt cups and acai bowls, and get creative at the toppings bar. The creamy yoghurt offerings are perfect for guilt-free indulging, as they are low in calories and 98% fat-free across most flavours. You can also spruce it up with classic garnishes like cookie dough, brownie chunks, and fresh strawberries, or keep it local with a selection of jellies and popping pearls, which are exclusive to Singapore’s Yo-Chi outlet. The shop’s modern, warm wood aesthetic also sets the perfect vibe for chilling with friends over dessert.

Gelato Messina

Gelato Messina has landed at 1 Club Street. A household name in its native Australia, the brand is known for its farm-to-cone philosophy, where everything that can be made in-house will be — including Jersey cow milk and free-range eggs from its own farm, as well as produce like hazelnut, honey, and mint, which goes into its iconic Mint Choc Chip gelato.

The Singapore store boasts a dizzying lineup of 40 flavours, including 35 classics and five inventive weekly specials in quirky flavours like crushed cheesecake and bacon brittle, churned in small batches daily. To mark its Singapore debut, there will be five local exclusives: Kaya Toast, Teh Tarik, Tau Huay (lightly sweetened tofu gelato), Yolk’s on You (salted egg yolk with gula Melaka caramel), and the cheekily named Singapore, How You Durian?, a coconut gelato swirled with durian jam and chunks of durian cake.

Mondo

Italian for “world,” Mondo, a new gelato bar on 92 Amoy Street lives up to its name with a globe-trotting gelato menu. Boozy, small batch creations feature innovative flavours like Blue Cheese & Candied Pear, which uses French blue cheese for a burst of savoury richness, and Marsala Poached Figs, crafted by poaching dried figs in marsala wine with a generous splash of port to finish.

For something lighter and more refreshing, Mondo offers a selection of sorbets such as Lemon Sake and the tropical Pineapple Makgeolli, which pairs fresh pineapple juice with the smooth, earthy profile of Korean rice wine. Non-alcoholic options are available too, like the classic Sicilian Pistachio, a decadent treat made using imported pistachio paste from Sicily.

TOFU G

Taking inspiration from Korean tofu-making traditions, TOFU G at Mandarin Gallery, Orchard Road is a new Korean premium gelato spot that swaps milk for tofu as its base, using high-quality, non-GMO soybeans. Besides the original tofu flavour, the light and silky scoops come in thoughtful varieties such as roasted black sesame, and sweet potato.

Other highlights include the Chodang Sweet Corn flavour, studded with fresh, golden corn kernels as well as Pistachio Gelato, which comes loaded with premium pistachios for a lush, nutty flavour. The space channels the look of a traditional Korean hanok with a modern twist, featuring warm wood tones, unbleached cotton fabrics, and a calm, clean aesthetic. There’s even a live churning machine, so you can watch each batch being made fresh before it’s served.
