An exclusive outdoor garden dining experience by Siri House and Veuve Clicquot
With Veuve Clicquot Champagne and good food, the lifestyle destination is set to create unforgettable memories amid the lush greenery of Dempsey Hill
Evening alfresco dining is not something that immediately comes to mind when you think of Dempsey’s expansive dining enclave. Siri House aims to change that, with its recently launched outdoor private dining and drinking experience. Located at the cosy, verdant Terrace, it is set to be the next popular venue for outdoor boozy brunches, intimate dinner parties or even just a romantic dinner for two.
The dining experience, launched in partnership with Veuve Clicquot, is set against the lush greenery of Dempsey Hill which gives diners the opportunity to unwind away from the city’s hectic pace of life. “Siri House prides itself in being a luxury lifestyle, social and dining nexus that fosters and celebrates community. Champagne is synonymous with celebration and we’re thrilled to have found the perfect partner in Veuve Clicquot for this experience,” says Sharon Chong, general manager of Siri House.
Taking centre stage for this occasion is Siri House’s specially designed open-air garden trellis terrace. A ceiling of greenery and light bulbs are complemented by cosy hanging glass baubles at night, with the table elegantly dressed with greens, candles and florals. For brunch, the structure is draped over to provide shelter from the heat and excess light.
The Siri House Outdoor Fun in The Sun Brunch Feast ($70++/pax, minimum 5 pax to book) on weekends features 13 classic brunch plates to share, and a bread and pastry platter, complete with a selection of seasoned butters and jams, complemented by a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot per person.
But the main pièce de résistance is Siri House’s Dine at Dusk (Tuesday to Sunday, 6pm to 8pm), featuring a specially curated four-course ($98++/person) or six-course ($128++/person) menu, inclusive of a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne per person. Diners literally dine under the stars, as dusk gives way to a relaxed, star-studded night. Rest assured, the restaurant makes a special effort to provide extra fans and insect repellent to keep the heat and mozzies away.
The evening kicks off with an interesting amuse bouche of Stracciatella with aburi amaebi, sansho pepper, Thai basil oil and crab fat croutons, and a wild-caught Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio, dressed in nuoc cham, fermented calamansi and mango.
Entrée highlights include Lobster Miso Carbonara where gorgeous housemade pappardelle meets a smooth sauce of egg yolks, parmesan and white miso. The dish is garnished with sauteed seasonal mushrooms, fried parma ham and a whole bincho-grilled Maine lobster tail.
Another popular favourite is the Pan Seared Chilean Seabass accompanied with a sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, thyme, tarragon, anchovies and olives.
For dessert, the meal ends with the very delicate and floral Jasmine Ice Cream Mille Feuille with puffed rice, toasted buckwheat and chamomile syrup, no doubt inspired by the surrounding environs.
To complement both brunch and dinner, guests can order bottles of Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label, Rosé or La Grande Dame at special promotional prices, starting at $120 per bottle.
