Don’t miss this underwater dining experience in Bali

The Apurva Kempinski Bali’s Koral Restaurant

It has to be some kind of therapy to dine accompanied by a school of fish and colourful coral reefs. Situated at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Koral Restaurant recently reopened its doors. Taking inspiration from the red clay brick architecture of ancient Majapahit Kingdom, the restaurant is designed to showcase the mesmerising swirl of tropical fish in the enormous aquarium. Have a dinner at the booth seating for a romantic tête-à-tête or treat the little ones to a memorable family dinner that undoubtedly would excite them.

The recent appointment of executive sous chef Andrea Astone is another reason to be revisit Koral Restaurant. The Italian native carries 20 years of culinary experience, from France’s two-starred Michelin restaurant to Marrakech’s luxurious Italian establishment. Expertly combining his Italian sensibilities, French technique and the bounty of locally sourced produce, Astone and the culinary team’s creation is a treat for the eyes and the palate.
