Pastry chef Joe Leong creates a weekend high tea menu at V Dining
Sleep in and still make it in time for V Dining's Taste of Asia high tea.
Forget the morning jog or even breakfast. Sometimes, we just want to catch up on our sleep during the weekend. Late risers can eat and socialise at V Dining over its Taste of Asia high tea. Held every Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 6pm, the light-filled restaurant adjoining V-ZUG’s Zugorama showroom in Scotts Square has rolled out local sweet and savoury creations, courtesy of its new pastry chef Joe Leong. Expect several hawker favourites like the Chicken Rice, bite-sized steamed chicken served on fragrant rice; and the fork-tender Beef Rendang served with yoghurt and coconut sauce.
For desserts, Leong has created several easy pleasers: Black Sesame Macaron, classic scones, and the Tropical Verrine, a refreshing combination of mango compote, coconut mousse and passionfruit cremeaux. Pair the food with your choice of tea blends from Tea Forte or Deux Champagne. $58/person, $78/person with a glass of bubbly.
