Always wanted to be an eco-foodie but didn’t know where to start? On 11 November, 11 local chefs will impart lessons on green kitchen practices and cooking methods over a luxurious four-hour luncheon. The De Dietrich Celebrity Chefs Sustainable Cuisines Experience, organised by De Dietrich and Asia-Pacific Enterprise Cooperation to encourage responsible food consumption, will rally together Nicholas Issel (Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore), Diego Chiarini (OSO Ristorante), Francois Mermilliod (Absinthe), Laurent Bernard (Laurent Bernard Chocolatier), Tadashi Takahashi (Hashi Restaurant), Julien Bompard (Le Saint Julien) and the Singapore Pastry Team, who will, together, whip up a six-course wine-paired degustation lunch live at their respective stations. 10 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore.
Tickets, priced from $368 each, include a book featuring recipes of the dishes presented, a Meet the Chefs cocktail session at the end of the event, and a goodie bag. Early bird purchasers before 15 Oct will receive a $50 discount per ticket. From 11am to 3pm, The Island Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel Singapore. Please visit www.celeb-chefs.com for ticket purchases.
