ToTT Store lends a hand in the romance department with its Cooking to Seduce classes.
29 January: The Valentine’s Day Chocolate Box
Chef Derrick Wong from 2am:dessertbar shares three recipes of the luscious treat: Aerated Smoke Paprika Chocolate, Hand-rolled Truffles and Toasted Nuts Chocolate Fudge in this hands-on lesson. He will also take participants through the intricate steps of chocolate tempering, moulding and siphoning. $98. 2 – 4pm.
30 January: Breakfast in Bed
Chef Daniel Sia paves the way to impressing your other half with recipes for a hearty breakfast in bed: poached eggs, blueberry pancakes and homemade baked beans. $108. 11am – 1pm.
12 February: Sweets from the Heart
In chef Mimi Wahadi’s class, a Flutter Cake topped with Chocolate Mousse and a Warm Mud Cake with Fresh Berries Compote are the two tempting cacao recipes in store. $138. 9.30am – 12.30pm.
13 February: Aphrodisiac Dinner for Two
The title of the class says it all. Tiffin Club chef Iskandar Latiff’s recipes of Oysters with Pineapple-Rum Granita, Almond-Crusted Salmon Fillet with Asparagus and Blue Cheese Torte, and Spiced Dark Chocolate and Avocado Creme with Honeycomb are the perfect reasons to ditch that impersonal dinner. $138. 9.30am – 12.30pm.
13 February: Kamasutra in the Kitchen
Highlighting natural aphrodisiacs of the Far East, chef Devagi Sanmugam whips up a four-course meal of Oyster Fritters with Pomegranate Chilli Jam, Prawn Tom Yam with Ginseng and Burdock Root, Peppery and Ginger Crusted Salmon in Thai Green Sauce and Olive Garlic Rice, and Fruit Spring Rolls with Raspberry Ginger Chocolate Sauce. $138. 3.30 – 6.30pm.
