For the perfect celebration to round up our nation's birthday, head to the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel for its annual Hawker's Fare. Held at Café Brio, the spread of local favourites including Char Kway Teow, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Satay and Roti Prata is served at lunch ($40/adult, $20/child) and dinner (from $52/adult, $26/child on weekdays). If you haven't indulged enough during this durian season, don't miss the specially allocated outdoor stall which doles out more of the creamy, mouthwatering treat.
August celebrants will receive a complimentary cake, subject to a minimum booking of 5 diners. There are also hotel stays and dining vouchers to be won with a minimum spend of $150 in a single receipt.
