LeVeL33 and Salted & Hung team up for a one-night-only degustation dinner

Expect bold flavours and inventive cooking techniques at this chef exchange between Drew Nocente and Jimi Tegerdine.

Keep 16 November free as that's when Drew Nocente, executive chef of Salted & Hung, join hands with LeVeL33’s executive chef Jimi Tegerdine for an exclusive one-night-only dinner held at LeVeL33. Fans of both restaurants will be familiar with Nocente's penchant for curing and smoking ingredients and Tegerdine's beer-inspired dishes. Both chefs' distinctive styles will result in a five-course degustation menu (from $98/person) that will tease your taste buds. Nocente will showcase his charcuterie skills with signatures like grilled Mackerel served with gin, horseradish pickles and sprinkled with nori ash. Tegerdine’s take on the classic Pork Belly should not be missed, too – it’s sous-vide for 12 hours and paired with snails and celeriac.

Tegerdine lets on: “The dishes for this dinner actually came about easily and Drew came up with the idea to do sharing style, which I love. The food from my side is a reflection of chef Drew's food as it allowed me to open a door that we normally wouldn't do at LeVeL33, especially with a big event like this. So I had the perfect excuse!” Nocente shares that he is already experimenting with a few dishes, including desserts using beer. "Jimi and I are keeping it simple - we just want a good night packed with great flavours."
