BBQ under the stars at Pan Pacific Singapore
Fire up your Friday and Saturday nights with Pan Pacific Singapore’s Poolside Patio four-course barbeque menu, a romantic and relaxing al-fresco dining venue next to the refurbished swimming pool. You won’t have to worry about the balmy Singapore heat in the airy al-fresco space, that also has ceiling fans for good measure.
Sitting under the fairy lights, we loved their appetiser of grilled flatbread with their special dip made of butternut squash, sage, hazelnut and parmesan cheese dip. The tomato gazpacho with iberico ham and garlic bread was tart and refreshing, and the garlic bread cooked perfectly crisp. Other appetisers include the mushroom cappuccino, green asparagus with burrata and black rice chips, and Alaskan King Crab in garlic butter.
The table fell silent once the massive portion of juicy meat and seafood was served on a piping hot platter. East meets West with dishes like the grilled, grass-fed Australian tandoori lamb cutlets, the tender soy and mustard Harami steak, tiger prawns coated with garlic butter and the coriander and lemon marinated red snapper fillet. We loved the smoky ayam bakar, Pan Pacific’s take on the popular Indonesian char-grilled chicken thigh that is sure to satisfy those looking for a slightly spicy kick. A selection of condiments and sauces was available - we recommend the smoked sea salt and the horseradish cream.
Cool down with the Tropical Tiramisu - cubed pieces of tiramisu beneath cream, raspberries, nata de coco, coconut ice cream, roasted coconut and edible flowers. While it didn’t really taste like a tiramisu, it was a sweet ending to a laid-back dinner.
