With sets featuring meltingly tender wagyu beef in sweet onion salads, inaniwa udon, and foie gras donburi, Japanese steakhouse Fat Cow now has all the trappings for a power lunch.

For anyone who’s made a mental note to return to Fat Cow after trying some of its meltingly tender Blackmore or Kagoshima wagyu, the beckon back just got stronger. The Japanese steakhouse is now open for lunch with 10 sets on the afternoon menu, including Negi Wagyu Donburi ($54), a rice bowl topped with beef tartare, onsen egg and shiro negi, and the doubly decadent Foie Gras and Wagyu Donburi ($56).

, All-day beef festIt’s a big draw for guests who are looking to indulge in premium beef like the Stockyard ranch Australian wagyu with marbling score 8+, but don’t necessarily want to sit down to a whole steak at dinner. While beef is the highlight here, Fat Cow dishes out more than just succulent meats. There are lighter offerings, like the Sashimi Set ($58), comprising a fresh array of 13 pieces of choice fish, and Gindara Miso Yaki ($42), a miso marinated grilled cod.

All sets include salad, miso soup and dessert. Available from Monday to Friday, 12 to 3pm. #01-01 Camden Medical Centre. Tel: 6735 0308
