The Ramadan Iftar Feast at international Halal-certified restaurant, AquaMarine in Marina Mandarin Singapore, features a host of Indonesian delights from 19 July to 18 August.

, An iftar feastAs the first restaurant in the hotels within the Marina Bay and Suntec area to be Halal-certified in October last year, AquaMarine proves it more than deserved the accolade with its inaugural Ramadan Iftar Feast. From 19 July to 18 August, guest chef Fuad Zakaria, from sister hotel Meritus Surabaya City Centre in Indonesia, will serve up an impressive array of his native dishes. These include the fragrant Indonesian Nasi Goreng, Gado Gado Surabaya, and the robust Indonesian oxtail soup, Sop Buntut.

, An iftar feastDotted along the al fresco area of the restaurant, four live stations tended by Marina Mandarin's culinary team showcases sticks of succulent beef and lamb satay, mee goreng, towers of syrup-drenched ice kachang and frothy teh tarik to complement the extensive buffet spread. But the treats don't stop there. The dessert selection offers more palate-pampering creations including Es Teller (a fruit cocktail of avocado and jackfruit with shaved ice), Serabi (rice flour pancakes with coconut milk) and Lepet Jagung (wrapped corn cakes).

Before sitting down to break their fast, Muslim guests can head to the specially appointed male and female prayer rooms on Level Six for a time of quiet reflection. Complimentary dates herald the start of dinner and at the end of the evening, lucky draw chances entitle all guests to a shot at the grand prize: a pair of return tickets to Bali worth $800, coupled with dining vouchers from Marina Mandarin Singapore.
