Go plant-based at Singapore Vegan Festival 2021

The Singapore Vegan Festival (SVF) is back – and it’s time to swap out your meats for plant-based alternatives. Now in its third edition and a part of the Singapore Food Festival, this year’s affair will continue raising awareness for veganism while advocating the health benefits associated with the diet and lifestyle.

Organised by EatRoamLive, the vegan fiesta will take place across 10 days between 27 Aug to 5 Sep as a fresh, new and innovative event. Located across multiple venues in Singapore, it’ll also be able to put safety first, given today’s circumstances.

Some key highlights include the return of the uber popular marketplace aka Vegan Market in the Sky at Swissotel the Stamford’s Skai Suites. A mecca for those looking to explore homegrown vegan brands, the two-day affair will showcase a large variety of gourmet vegan cheeses, gluten- and dairy-free desserts, healthy snacks, plant-based meats, cruelty-free skincare and lifestyle products.

There will also be food tours and masterclasses conducted by experts and global influencers. Just discover and sample dishes through four exciting vegan food crawls or pick up vegan cooking thanks to renowned chefs.

Finally, don’t forget to check out special vegan menus at participating local restaurants. Secret suppers await those who are game, as secret menus by restaurants in Singapore’s cultural precincts Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Gelam and Katong Joo Chiat will include interesting takes on local flavours and cuisines – featured just for SVF.

So those interested in learning more about the benefits of vegan living will want to mark their calendars for the many events and activities happening around town.
