Holistic Harmony Awaits with Amukti Jiwa at Talise Spa, Jumeirah Bali

Jumeirah Bali continued its successful curated wellness series, Amukti Jiwa, with the second iteration at Talise Spa. Holistic wellness remained at the heart of this series, where ancient practices and philosophies are thoughtfully reimagined to offer mindful guests an immersive, guided experience tailored to their personal wellbeing journey.

Amukti Jiwa signifies the liberation of the soul, a state of harmony, balance, and renewal

Drawing inspiration from ancient Javanese philosophy, Amukti Jiwa embodies the liberation of the soul – a pursuit of harmony, balance, and renewal. Designed to evolve with every edition, the series continually presents a thoughtfully curated journey that resonates with its time. Guided by seasoned practitioners specialising in movement, energy, and holistic wellbeing, each experience invites guests to embark on a transformative path of healing that nurtures not only the body but also the mind and soul.

Guests were invited to craft their own incense using aromatherapy blends aligned with their chakra energies

Commencing last September, the second chapter of the wellness journey began at The Library with a Meditative Art session. Guests were introduced to the Balinese Wewaran, a traditional calendar system used to interpret their chakras through its intricate energy cycles – an exercise that guided them in selecting their personalised aromatherapy essences. These essences were then incorporated into an incense-making ritual using sandalwood powder and therapeutic finger-kneading techniques. The session offered a creative yet introspective outlet, inviting emotional release and spiritual balance.

Following this, guests were welcomed into Bale Wicaksana for a Sound Healing session led by three practitioners, whose synchronised use of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls created a deeply immersive experience. The resonant tones encouraged profound relaxation and renewal, guiding participants towards an inner state of harmony.

The journey concluded with an array of nourishing refreshments, from adaptogenic drinks to wholesome bites, thoughtfully crafted by Jumeirah Bali’s culinary and Talise Spa teams. Extending the experience from the mat to the table, each creation reflected the resort’s dedication to holistic wellness in every sense.

Amukti Jiwa by Talise Spa at Jumeirah Bali will continue to offer wellness experiences, embodying the spa’s philosophy of self-discovery, mindfulness, and renewal. Guests can look forward to the return of this transformative experience, which is set to become a regular part of the resort. Each session invites participants to reconnect more deeply with themselves and their natural surroundings, embracing balance and awareness in every sense.
