Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong launches the Heritage Symphony mooncake collection

The Mid-Autumn Festival is here and Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group, has just launched its 2024 mooncake collection. The Heritage Symphony seeks to pay heartfelt tribute to the vibrant Peranakan culture which defines the spirit of the Katong neighbourhood. This new collection is where tradition meets modern influences to reflect the neighbourhood’s unique story and heritage.

The hotel’s mooncake collection comes in a number of low-sugar flavours such as White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk, White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nuts, Pandan with Melon Seeds, Charcoal Baked with Gold Dust and Dragon Well (Longjing) Tea with Melon Seeds.

The hotel’s 2024 mooncake collection is showcased in limited edition mooncake boxes. These boxes are meticulously decorated with traditional motifs, showcasing the peranakan culture’s distinct intricate patterns, which are reminiscent of the ceramic tiles characteristic of the Katong neighbourhood.

The boxes feature a vibrant red colour, which symbolises prosperity and joy, making it a perfect gift for this occasion, with a touch of blue palette to symbolise tranquillity and timeless elegance. The hotel’s 2024 mooncake boxes could easily serve as a collector’s item in addition to being a delightful gift.
