Hunaja: Eco-Friendly Finnish Honey now in Singapore

Singapore can now experience the unique taste and eco-conscious ethos of Finnish honey by Hunaja. The world’s northernmost beekeepers, Hunaja is part of the Honey Group Finland which specialises in producing premium, all-natural Finnish honey.

Finnish Floral Honey is creamy honey with mild taste

Hunaja’s Finnish Floral Honey and Traditional Crystallised Honey are distinguished not just by their origin in the extreme northern summer but by their pioneering environmental transparency. Each jar features a CO2e label, reflecting the total carbon footprint from production to store shelf. With footprints of 125 grams per 100 grams for 450-gram jars and 130 grams for 200-gram jars, these products achieve a green rating, indicating a low-emission profile based on the scale by Raisio Oyj.

Polyflora honey’s structure is crystallised and the taste is mild; it’s also called “old-fashioned honey”

Honey Group Finland is also the only company in the country to bottle filtered, fluid honey. What makes the Filtered Honey unique is that it has been filtered to remove pollen particles. This creates a fluid, pollen-free honey that can be enjoyed by anyone with pollen allergies.

Furthermore, Honey Group Finland launched an initiative to improve environmental responsibility through the EcoCompass project. This includes developing a ‘Carbon Wingprint’ to demonstrate the positive environmental impacts of each jar, promoting honey as a product that contributes to the health of our planet.

The introduction of Hunaja’s honey in Singapore serves not just as a bridge between Finnish exotic beekeeping and Singapore’s burgeoning interest in sustainable, diverse food sources but also as a beacon of international cooperation in environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture.

Hunaja promises Singaporeans a excellent products plus a step towards a more sustainable future, embracing the synergy between culinary delight and environmental care. This eco-friendly honey is available through Wolfwald.sg, Redmart.sg, Lazada.sg, and Shopee.sg.
