Following the flavourful success of the inaugural Bangli Edition, COMO Culinary Odyssey continues its journey to showcase Bali’s other regional cuisine. This time, Gianyar’s culinary  legacy is spotlighted from 4 April to 31 May 2025 at COMO Beach Club.

Renowned as the artistic and cultural heart of Bali, the regency is also renowned for its treasured culinary traditions. “Gianyar holds some of Bali’s most treasured culinary traditions, where every dish carries a story of its people. With this menu, I want to bring these stories to life through flavours that are as bold and vibrant as the region itself,” says executive chef I Kadek Sugiantara.

Dine, wine and savour Gianyar regional cuisine at COMO Uma Canggu this April

Taste vibrant signature dishes such as Jukut Ares Bebek, a humble and flavourful duck and banana stem soup served with sate lilit tuna and a slow-cooked tepeng rice a la Gianyar. The set menu also includes Pisang Rai, a sweet dessert made of steamed banana, coconut, and palm sugar. Pair the dish with arak-based cocktails such as Ubud Twilight (arak Bali, longan purée, maraschino, and cucumber) or Ayung Bloom (pandan-infused arak Bali, spiced rum, dragon fruit, and peanut butter).

The COMO Culinary Odyssey – Gianyar Edition set menu is available for lunch and dinner at COMO Beach Club for Rp415,000++ per person.

Set on 7 to 9 April 2025 at Uma Cucina, you are invited to savour the sweet life when chef Diego Martinelli of CIBO! Pasta Lab takes over the Italian restaurant at COMO Uma Ubud. The Pasta Heist three-night-only event offers a curated menu, either as a four-course set menu or as à la carte menu.

The Bologna native is known for his artisanal pasta making. “Italian cooking is about simplicity, soul, and technique—letting the best ingredients shine,” says chef Diego Martinelli. “With The Pasta Heist, I want to bring a playful yet refined take on classic dishes, blending tradition with creativity in every bite.

Start with Yellowfin Tuna Crudo with Stracciatella, Crispy Pork Belly with pumpkin purée, and Eggplant Parmigiana with garlic cream before going for the pasta dishes. Pair the Bucatini Carbonara with candied guanciale, Beef Cheek Ravioli with pickled grapes, and Tortellini al Ragù with selected Italian wines for a memorable dining experience.
