Three days before Christmas Day, on 22 December, the resort will have its Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Mads Lange at 7pm, beckoning its official beginning of holiday mode. Bask in the Christmas spirit reflected through hand-painted ornaments and solar-powered fairy lights while savouring a delicious Balinese megibung dinner (Rp850,000/person) that embodies the festive spirit in a Balinese tradition.
From 24 to 26 December, the director of culinary, Nicola Russo, will present an authentic Italian Christmas banquet (Rp950,000/person) highlighting the rich flavour of Christmas in Italy. Come at 6pm to taste a five-course Italian dinner, comprising Carpaccio di Manzo as the appetiser, Mafalde Ripiene as the first course, Bistecca Alla Fiorentina as the main course; as well as Granita and Christmas petit fours as the desserts.
Highly devoted to highlighting Bali’s finest produce, Api Jiwa will host an Asian omakase-style Christmas dinner (Rp1,900,000/person) featuring a ten-course degustation menu and a complimentary glass of champagne. Head to the tented restaurant on 24 and 25 December, with the first seating starting at 6pm and the second seating at 8.30pm.
Just before the year ends, Api Jiwa invites guests to the New Year’s Eve Countdown Dinner (Rp2,500,000/person) in its lively premises on 31 December, from 6pm for the first seating and the second seating at 8.30pm. Indulge the senses with a twelve-course dinner that thrust caviar into the spotlight, complemented with a Champagne toast. Soak up the spirited atmosphere while enjoying a magician performance and live music with your loved ones.
Usher in the new year with a lavish Balinese repast featuring the flavourful serving of Bebek Betutu. The richness of spices, herbs, and coconut oil engulfed the husk-fired duck, leaving a distinct scent and taste you cannot miss. Experience this family-style New Year’s Balinese Delights (Rp750,000/person) on 1 January 2024, from 12pm onwards.
From 23 December 2023 – 3 January 2024, Capella Ubud, Bali runs a tempting room package as part of its festive programme.
