Looking for Sopexa’s best sommelier in Singapore

Sopexa is back with the next exciting edition of Singapore’s Best Sommelier Competition in French Wines 2016! Following last year’s contest, where Alvin Gho and Alan Kok Hoong Au took the top slots, this year’s contestants will take part in a series of workshops that include Champagne service, decantation of a bottle of red wine, and blind tasting. Don’t be nervous now – the esteemed judges include Jean Pascal Paubert, honorary president of Sommeliers de Bordeaux et Aquitaine and L’Union de la Sommellerie Française; Alan Tan Tee Yong, senior food & beverage instructor at At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy; and Cecilia Goh, publisher and executive director of epicure.

Sommeliers who are Singaporeans or holding PR may sign up at http://marketing-sopexa.com/bestsommelierscompetitionsingapore2016. Four sommeliers will then be selected to go on to the finals, taking place on 14 September at Raffles Singapore.
