The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali ups its ante with the recent appointment of executive pastry chef Michael Leuwol at the resort and a new afternoon tea offering. Inviting the award-winning pastry chef Vinesh Johny, co-founder of Lavonne Academy of Baking Science & Pastry Arts, India, the resort now offers an array of exquisite treats showcasing the artistry of both chefs, paired with a premium selection of teas at The Lobby Bar & Lounge.

Open daily from 11am to 6pm, guests are invited to visit The Lobby Bar & Lounge to taste the new afternoon tea. The assortment of savoury and sweet treats are available in two options: the Classic Afternoon Tea and the Canapé Vegetarian. Both options include sweet delights featuring the decadent Mango Peanut Madeleine with its creamy peanut filling and tangy mango caviar. For a refreshing treat, savour the Açai and Raspberries nestled in a light vanilla sponge and topped with coconut Chantilly. The Smoothie Bowl Tart offers a delightful blend of yoghurt custard, fresh fruit, and honey Chantilly, while the Chocolate Hazelnut Rocher provides an indulgent experience.

Other sweet highlights include the Tropical Swiss Roll with its citrus sponge, spiced coconut cream, and tropical fruit, Macarons with Balinese coffee ganache and cherry pate fruit, and the Millet and Banana Chocolate, featuring a milk chocolate cookie, pecan crunch, and banana cream Oreo milk chocolate. Finally, a classic scone will complete the afternoon tea experience, served with various toppings, including cheddar cheese, black pepper, candied orange, pine nut, honey, clotted cream, and spiced citrus marmalade.
