New Outdoor Event Space The Suwarga Garden Sets to Open at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali

The most memorable moments of a resort stay often unfold in the spaces between – a quiet afternoon spent enjoying the surroundings or a celebratory gathering shared with loved ones under open skies. Embracing this philosophy, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is set to introduce The Suwarga Garden in August 2026. Designed as a destination within the resort itself, this new outdoor venue beautifully expands the event space options for lifestyle travellers and organisers visiting Bali. Carrying the tagline, “Where every moment feels like heaven,” the venue gracefully blends tropical greenery with thoughtful architecture to create an inviting, serene atmosphere.

Lawn Courtyard at The Suwarga Garden

At the heart of the design is a cascading waterfall, which serves as a natural focal point anchoring the entire landscape. The venue comprises several interconnected zones – including The Banyan Court, Lawn Courtyard, Cascading Lawn, Pavilion, and Waterfall Court – with each area offering a distinct atmosphere while remaining part of a cohesive layout. An elegant, semi-open pavilion and open garden spaces allow the setting to shift its character throughout the day, catching different tropical light from afternoon till evening.

The Banyan Court at the new garden

For organisers seeking a new and highly adaptable event space, the venue accommodates up to 1,250 guests for large-scale celebrations in Bali. While weddings, private parties, and social functions are expected to become central to its story, the garden is designed with a much broader everyday purpose in mind. Beyond formal bookings, it serves as a communal gathering place where families can spend time together, children can play freely in the open air, and guests can enjoy quiet moments of pause surrounded by nature.

The Cascading Lawn is one of the spaces available at the new venue

This concept reflects an evolving shift in global travel, where modern travellers and planners increasingly seek genuine connection and open-air experiences over traditional, enclosed layouts. By introducing this versatile new event space, the resort delivers a fluid, outdoor destination to hospitality scene in Bali. Whether hosting a couple exchanging vows beneath swaying trees or providing a calm retreat for an evening stroll, the venue adapts effortlessly, allowing every experience to find its own natural rhythm.
