New York, New York!

Known for its classic afternoon tea against an elegant backdrop of skylight to floor-to ceiling Victorian pillars, the newly restored Grand Lobby at the iconic Raffles Singapore hosts another new experience of the hotel’s great traditions – an Afternoon Tea with a distinct sense of heritage and journey.

Alongside the Classic Afternoon Tea at Raffles Singapore, The Grand Lobby presents a specially curated, limited-time-only The New York Afternoon Tea too. Guests can savour a delectable array of savouries, sweet treats, home-baked scones with the famous homemade rose petal and strawberry jam, all served on a three-tier silver stand as they journey through The Big Apple-inspired menu.

Signature must-tries from The Big Apple include Reuben sandwiches, lobster rolls, smoked salmon on homemade bagels, chocolate walnut brownie and the decadent New York cheesecake by executive pastry chef Tai Chien Lin.

To complete the experience, the menu is complemented by a curated collection of exquisite teas, coffees and Champagnes.

Guests can also choose to pair the tea experience with specially handcrafted cocktails in line with the Big Apple theme of course. Recommended refreshing cocktails include Manhattan, Cosmopolitan and Bronx, for the perfect afternoon New York getaway.

The New York Afternoon Tea experience is part of The Raffles Hotel’s new concept of thematic afternoon tea, taking guests on a gastronomic journey around the world through creative, ever-changing menus.

This experience is exclusively available for a limited period only, before guests are whisked away to another exciting city’s tea traditions elsewhere in the world.

From now till 30 September 2020, guests can enjoy a special ‘3+1’ group dining offer at The Grand Lobby, applicable for the Raffles Afternoon Tea set ($78++ per guest), and The New York Afternoon Tea set (also at $78++per guest).

Available weekdays from 1pm-5pm / weekends 12 noon – 6pm.
