The 20-year-old hotel took a 18-month break and is now sporting more rooms, a repainted lobby, and Peranakan-esque accents at their F&B outlets.
After 18 months, Swissotel Merchant Court Singapore is back – bigger, bolder and badder. Located in the heart of Clarke Quay, the hotel now boasts 476 refurnished rooms in modern chic colours, a transformed Ellenborough Market Café, a new Crossroads Bar and a luxury Swiss spa, the Purovel Spa & Sport. The lobby area, walkways as well as restrooms have also been dramatically transformed. What is also new is the introduction of a Peranakan High Tea at the Crossroads Bar, from 3pm to 5pm.
