Singapore’s three-Michelin-starred Les Amis won the Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award

The Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award acknowledges a restaurant that presents outstanding service and exceptional hospitality. And this year, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2020 has announced that Singapore’s Les Amis is the 2020 winner of the Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award – given by the voting Academy.

Since its opening in 1994, the French fine dining restaurant has been making waves in the restaurant world with its creations. William Drew, director of content at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants says ““A fine-dining institution in Singapore since 1994, Les Amis has earned justified plaudits for its impeccable front-of-house operation and is recognised as having one of the best wine lists in the region. Since the launch of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013, Les Amis has maintained a constant presence on the list and is a worthy recipient of the Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award.”

Sebastien Lepinoy

Director of Culinary and Operations, Sebastien Lepinoy (formerly from the nuw defunct Cépage in Jong Kong and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Hong Kong, where he spent 17 years) joined the restaurant in 2013 and has pushed Les Amis to greater heights – was awarded three Michelin-stars in 2019 and No. 33 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019.
