Known for its wide array of culinary delights, The Apurva Kempinski Bali gears up its three dining destinations for the event: Selasar Deli, Koral Restaurant, and Pala Restaurant. Embracing the pristine Nusa Dua Beach, the resort becomes the epitome of natural marvel and luxurious sanctuary. Therefore, it becomes an idyllic setting for the chefs’ divine creations.
MOF chef Jean Francois Arnaud is a pastry chef with 46 years of experience, making him an artisanal expert that serves decadent pastries for people to fall in love with. His passion for craftsmanship has earned him the prestigious award for professional craftsmen, MOF, in 2000. On this extraordinary journey, he will be accompanied by a Michelin-starred chef Julien Lefebvre and the rest of the chefs at the hotel.
As a chef and the owner of his restaurant back in France, L’Atre, chef Julien Lefebvre will serve his culinary masterpieces. His career traces back to esteemed places such as the three Michelin-starred Le Pré Catelan and Histoires, France. Chef Julien Lefebvre continues to further his skills, earning him the spot as executive chef at Château Cordeillan-Bages in Pauillac, France. Guests are in for a flavourful journey with these two respected chefs in charge.
The ‘Spectacular Culinary Journey’ by The Apurva Kempinski Bali will start from 17 March to 19 March 2023, with three different offers available. Start with a sweet note at Selasar Deli for ‘Selasar Artisan Patisseries’, an afternoon tea delight in collaboration with resort’s chef Rizqi and Chef Iqbal, where you can taste toothsome treats from the 46-year worth of pastry craftsmanship by MOF chef Jean Francois Arnaud. The event will start at 2-3pm on two consecutive days, 17-18 March 2023, priced at Rp190,000/person.
On the evening of 17 March, don’t miss the ‘Epicurean Evening at Koral Restaurant’ when both star chefs will collaborate with Koral’s own chef Andrea Astone in a memorable five-course tasting menu. The dinner starts at 6pm until 10pm, priced at Rp1,500,000/person.
Last but not least, Pala Restaurant will host a ‘Special Brunchcation’ led by MOF chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer and culinary director chef Eric Cocollos on 19 March 2023, starting at 12pm until 3.30pm, for Rp700,000/person.
