As we enter the year’s spookiest season, Halloween enthusiasts are gearing up for chilling celebrations. The star of the Halloween celebration is no other than Meliá Bali with its annual Spooky Season activities throughout its premises, warranting a spine-tingling and thrilling Halloween for all.
Get your matching costumes ready with the little ones and let them get creative through spooky arts and crafts session or Halloween cookies-baking time. Otherwise, brace yourself for a horror movie night. Here are the Halloween-themed activities at Meliá Bali to join:
Halloween Activities
On 31 October, the Halloween festivities at Meliá Bali are filled with thrilling and creative adventures for kids. Let your little ones start the day crafty with Spooky Art & Craft at 10am and continue with a lively session at the Bounce Castle, available from 10am to 6pm.
It is not Halloween without the kids covered in spellbinding face paints of their favourite characters and things, so the resort hosts a Face Painting session from 2 – 5pm. A Bird Show starts at 2.30pm, followed by a Costume Contest at 3pm and the Hotel TransilMelia Party at 4pm, ensuring kids attend every activity offered.
As it gets darker and the breeze gets chilly, it’s time to gather around and enjoy a Marshmallow Roasting session at 6pm. Finally, Halloween Kids Movie Night will start at 6.30pm and wrap up the little one’s Halloween adventure. The spooky season activities for the Halloween celebration at Meliá Bali are priced at Rp400,000/kid for non-guests, while in-house guests are granted free passes.
Halloween Cookies Decoration
The spooky festivities in Meliá Bali also start a couple of days earlier with a Halloween Cookies Decoration session for children. On Saturday, 28 October, make sure to book a chair or two for the fun session at Sorrento Restaurant, as only limited space is available.
Sprinkle and add a dash of Halloween magic to the ghoulishly spider-shaped and infamous jack-o’-lantern-shaped cookies with provided edible decorating kit. The cookie decorating starts from 2pm – 3pm, priced at Rp350,000/child.
Paint & Glow with Bartega Studio
The glow-in-the-dark painting experience returns to the resort after last year’s success. Adults are invited to Kopi Petani at the resort’s premises on 31 October to paint and make it gleam under the darkness of Halloween night while sipping a glass of wine and tipple of your choice.
Come to the venue at 5.30pm and set the night alight with the glowing paint of your creation. The Paint & Glow with Bartega Studio is available for Rp480,000/person with a painting kit included.
Halloween Haunt & Feast: A Spooktacular Buffet Dinner
The resort’s renowned all-day dining El Patio Restaurant welcomes guests and visitors to feast on a special Halloween buffet dinner on 31 October, from 6pm – 10.30pm. Naturally, pumpkin creations take centre stage, served along with other dishes.

Halloween Movie Night: Scream!
