The Finest Italian Sunday Brunch in Jakarta

“The true Italian spirit is in feeding people well,” says Marco Violano, executive chef of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. The Pugliese chef’s devotion for Italian cuisine, best ingredients and flavour-forward approach are evident in the Sunday Brunch menu.

Starting at noon until 3pm, Alto Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta offers an intimate dining experience at the hotel’s rooftop. With its penthouse-style terrace, vibrantly refined red interiors and cosy seating arrangements, the brunch here is an invitation to savour la dolce vita, preferably unhurried and with a bubbly glass of Prosecco in hand. Violano, executive pastry chef Lorenzo Sollecito and the hotel’s culinary team have prepared a stellar, hearty menu inspired by Italian home-style family meals “made simply but with the highest-quality ingredients”.

Tagliere Misto, Alto Restaurant & Bar’s assorted cold cuts for the Italian Sunday Brunch

Start at the very beginning: the antipasti, cold cuts and fine cheeses. Order a bottle of chilled white wine, sit back and leisurely indulge on a platter of exquisitely-sliced Salame Milano, Prosciutto Crudo, Spianata Calabra, as well as an assorted imported cheese with dry fruits and honey. Crack open blue crab, baby lobster, mussels, and shrimps from the Seafood Bar before moving on to pasta.

In true Italian fashion, only after polishing off the Angel Hair Chicken Aglio Olio with Gamberi can you move on to the meaty nosh at the Carving Station. From Javanese peppercorn-encrusted US prime ribs to Aromatic Herbs Lamb Leg, eat well but be sure to leave some room for the pass-around and desserts.

Safety and hygiene’s Lead with Care standard is implemented at Alto Restaurant & Bar, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta

After all, life is not sweet without dolce or Italian for desserts. When it comes to pastry and desserts, Sollecito’s prowess can be found at the lavish spread made of more than a dozen signature treats such as the popular Alto Tiramisu, Espresso Brûlée, Boston Bombolone, Pistachio Raspberry Choux, and many others.

Alto Restaurant & Bar’s Italian Sunday Brunch is available every Sunday and priced at Rp895,000++ per person. Elevate the dining experience with additional free-flow beverage packages (starting at Rp750,000++ per person incl. red and white wine).
