Velada x Merah Putih
Starting from 17 August, Merah Putih Restaurant is taking over Velada at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali for the next three months. Whisk away your family and friends to experience the rich heritage of Indonesia regional fare in a curated a la carte menu at the family-friendly restaurant. Taste nosh such as Kerang Lengkuas (Rp95,000), Bebek Goreng with palm hearts and colo colo sambal (Rp95,000), Mie Aceh (Rp120,000), West Sumatra’s Domba Kalio (Rp190,000), and many more. Nigita x MAURI
The contemporary Italian restaurant, MAURI welcomes Bali’s dessert magician, Vincent Nigita, for an exclusive one day only event on 16 August. The Nigita & Mauri Sunday Brunch will bring la dolce vita with its a la carte all-you-can-eat tasting menu. Taste chef Maurizio Bombini’s savoury creation (from Egg Custard and Sturia Vintage Caviar to various antipasti, home-made pastas, and mains such as Tagliata di Manzo) and make sure to leave some room for sweet treats from chef Vincent Nigita. Indulge in dainty macarons, sablés and madeleines as well as Nigita’s take on Tiramisu, Paris- Brest, Baba aux Rhum, and more. Starting from 11.30am to 3pm, the brunch is priced at Rp490,000/person (incl. still water and soft drinks). Room4Dessert x Mason
Make your way to Ubud for a Sunday feast by two of Bali’s indomitable talents, Will Goldfarb and Ben Cross (Mason). Held at Room4Dessert’s lush backyard, the first Sunday Roast will feature snacks, dips, spreads, “the most gently cooked beef this side of paradise”, and of course, desserts. Expect natural wine and killer cocktails to complement the feast. A three-course lunch menu is priced at Rp490,000/person. Available from 12pm to 2pm.
