Michelin Guide Singapore welcomes 69 F&B venues to the Bib Gourmand 2021 list
That’s 11 more than in 2019, with 12 new entries spanning a mix of restaurants, street food establishments and hawker stalls
It’s the most extensive list yet. Michelin Guide Singapore has awarded a total of 69 venues with a Bib Gourmand this year.
Spanning a mix of restaurants, street food establishments and hawker stalls, these venues are highlighted because they offer diners very good value for money, with a complete and high-quality menu priced at a maximum of $45.
There are 12 new entries on the Bib Gourmand selection, including three restaurants and nine hawker stalls. Among the new restaurants are Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee (Killiney) that serves prawn noodle soup and fried prawn bee hoon; Kotuwa (Jalan Besar) that offers seafood-focused dishes by a chef-owner of Sri Lankan heritage; and The Coconut Club (Ann Siang) which uses Malaysia-imported coconuts for extra flavour and authenticity in coconut-centric dishes such as nasi lemak.
The hawker stalls span across a range of iconic Singaporean fare such as bak kut teh, laksa and sliced fish soup. In all, the selection features 42 hawker stalls, 6 street food establishments and 21 restaurants.
