Plating Up WA: Singapore Edition

Plating Up WA: Singapore Edition is a dining festival that celebrates Western Australia produce and wines. Book any of the 21 participating restaurants to enjoy the outstanding foods from the region such as Margaret River Wagyu, Freemantle octopus and the delicate Dorper lamb. We are particularly excited about the wines from Margaret River and its surrounds, including iconic Vasse Felix and Cullen and artisan labels such as Amatovino. They produce an exuberant chardonnay, resplendent with citrus and stone fruit notes.

California Wine Month

Wine lovers will remember that the California wine regions are not limited to Napa and Sonoma; they extend along the Pacific coast from the cool Mendocino Valley to the pinot noir capital Santa Barbara. The region, blessed with excellent weather and grape growing conditions, boasts 110 grape varietals and 5900 growers. From 1 June to 10 July, a curated selection of these wines is pouring at the city’s top restaurants, including Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore, Rosemead, La Dame de Pic, Shang Palace, and Origin Grill & Bar (sample special menus featuring California wines). Don’t be surprised to see a bigger selection of California wines at a supermarket (RedMart and FairPrice) near you.

Penfolds Immersive Pop-ups

Where there’s wine, there’s Penfolds. The iconic Australian brand invites visitors to a series of immersive pop-ups across town, at the Atrium of Great World and T Galleria by DFS, to indulge in playful and shareable wine tasting sessions and be taken through a flight of Penfolds’ “House Style” wines. Each Penfolds pop-up will offer its own unique set of experiences.

The pop-ups are tied to the new Venture Beyond campaign, whereby Penfolds repositions itself as a global luxury wine brand. They feature a range of wines, including the Penfolds Max’s range in new gift packaging and the inaugural Penfolds Max’s Rosé 2021.
