MasterChef Indonesia judge Degan Septoadji joins Padma Resort as corporate chef
Sign up for Padma Resort's two culinary events to savour Septoadji's Javanese and Balinese dishes.
With the arrival of their new corporate chef, Degan Septoadji, Padma Resort Legian and Padma Resort Ubud are poised to present a series of culinary events, starting this month. The judge of MasterChef Indonesia 2012, Septoadji boasts over 30 years of culinary experience. For an interactive session with the top toque, sign up for Chef Degan’s Cook Out, during which he will transform his signature spice paste bumbu kuning (yellow spice) into multiple creations. Priced at Rp300,000/person, the cooking demonstration includes snacks, refreshments and a voucher to the S.K.A.I Culinary Festival – which launches on the same day. Fret not if you missed this. On 28 October, Septoadji will head to Padma Resort Ubud, where he will share his recipes at another cooking demonstration from 3pm to 5pm, which will be held at the Ballroom Foyer. Thereafter, participants will be taken on a tour to the resort’s own three-hectare Agro Forestry garden, where some of the ingredients are harvested. At 6.45pm, proceed to The Puhu Restaurant and Lounge, where Septoadji and Padma Resort Ubud’s executive chef, Ketut Sumerta, will team up to craft an array of Javanese and Balinese dishes with an international flair.
