Boncafé wins double at 3R Packaging Award 2012

Boncafé International gets recognition for going green and has won double—Gold and Merit—at this year's National Environment Agency’s 3R Packaging Awards. The 3R Packaging Awards is given out to companies who have made notable efforts and achievements to reducing packaging waste. This is the fifth year that Boncafé is receiving this award and for 2012, Boncafé collaborated with Winrigo to recycle coffee silverskin waste, a by-product of the coffee roasting process, to produce tumblers and stirrers. The result? Two tons of coffee silverskin waste have been recycled since.
