Capella brings Manhattan bar’s old-world glamour with three new cocktails

 

For your next staycation at the expansive resort, turn to the minibar for a craft cocktail surprise.

Capella Singapore collaborates with Manhattan bar (ranked 8^th on prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bar list) to bring three exclusive bottled cocktails: Aged Manhattan, Negroni and 1536, available to guests in villas and suites.

Manhattan’s world-class bar team meticulously crafted the pours with artisanal spirits and packaged them up in 200ml bottles.

We took them for a test drive at Bob’s Bar, located on the resort’s ground floor. Manhattan bar’s signature drink, the brazen Aged Manhattan, is crafted with small-batch bourbon Maker’s Mark, cherry liqueur, aromatic Mancino Rosso and Angosutra Bitters. Aged for four weeks in Maker’s Mark private select barrel, serve it with oversized cubes of ice and a maraschino cherry for garnish.

The bar staple Negroni stays true to its classic recipe of gin, Mancino Rosso and Campari. The third drink is the Caribbean inspired 1536. An ode to the classic corn n’oil cocktail, the pour is flavoured with lime, falernum and Navegante rum, Capella Singapore’s exclusive rum label.

Each bottle serves two and available for $88++.
