Celebrate the Golden Week with Bai Yun’s Hot Pot Festival

At The Apurva Kempinski Bali, culinary artistry takes centre stage once again as Bai Yun, the resort’s award-winning Chinese restaurant, introduces its first-ever Hot Pot Festival, available throughout October 2025. Timed to coincide with Golden Week and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the event invites guests to savour a month-long celebration of warmth, togetherness, and elevated Chinese dining.

Bai Yun has become synonymous with refined hot pot dining on the island. For this special festival, the restaurant unveils a collection of curated dining experiences designed for every palate and occasion.

The Harmony Feast offers a well-balanced introduction to the art of hot pot with premium beef short rib, Black Angus sirloin, chicken, prawns, scallops, and squid. The Sea Feast highlights the best of the ocean, featuring bamboo lobster, red snapper, scallops, prawns, squid, and artisanal dumplings. For those seeking indulgence, the Golden Feast delivers an opulent spread of Kiwami tenderloin MB9+, Black Angus short rib, Miyazaki A5 striploin, lobster, and fresh oysters. Meanwhile, the Chef’s Signature promises a complete culinary journey with authentic Cantonese barbecue, premium meats, and seasonal seafood.

Enhancing this luxurious line-up are three new broths – Duck & Radish, Fish Collagen & Salted Vegetables, and Chicken & Coriander – each adding a unique depth of flavour to Bai Yun’s signature soups. Debuting alongside them is the Chef’s Signature Set, featuring steamed dim sum, Cantonese-style barbecue, handmade noodles, fresh fruits, and aromatic Chinese tea, creating a multi-sensory experience that celebrates the essence of hot pot: warmth, sharing, and joy.

“Golden Week and the Mid-Autumn Festival are among the most cherished times for family reunions and cultural celebrations,” said Vincent Guironnet, general manager of The Apurva Kempinski Bali. “Since its opening in 2021, Bai Yun has become a favourite destination for hot pot lovers from Indonesia, across Asia, and beyond. This recognition inspires us to keep innovating, ensuring that our guests always have something new to discover.”

Executive Sous Chef Ho Weng Kit adds a personal touch to the celebration: “As a Malaysian chef who has worked across Asia, it is my wish to make this Golden Week and Mid-Autumn Festival feel like coming home. The Hot Pot Festival showcases the comforting flavours I grew up with, allowing everyone to experience the warmth and beauty of Asian cuisine together.”
