Discover a Private BBQ Dinner in Bali at Jejala Pool Bar

Some occasions deserve a little more time. A birthday shared with family, a long-overdue reunion with friends, or an anniversary celebrated without distraction often calls for a setting where conversation lingers as comfortably as the meal itself. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali introduces a new Private BBQ Experience at Jejala Pool Bar that embraces exactly that slower rhythm, inviting guests to gather around the grill for dinner in an intimate poolside setting framed by tropical greenery.

Jejala Pool Bar at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali

Available daily from 6pm with reservations made at least 48 hours in advance, the experience welcomes both resort guests and outside diners through two curated options: the Casual Private BBQ and the Premium Private BBQ. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply extending an evening together, the experience reimagines the BBQ as an unhurried dinner to savour while in Bali.

Designed for a minimum of four guests, the Casual Private BBQ begins from IDR 800,000 per person and centres on generous sharing dishes prepared fresh over the grill. Grilled prawns with garlic butter, beef short rib sliders, charred baby corn ribs, USDA ribeye, smoked beef brisket, honey mustard chicken, and cheesy sausages are accompanied by vibrant salads, seasonal vegetables, artisan breads, and house-made sauces before ending with grilled pineapple, dark chocolate brownies, and vanilla bean ice cream. It is designed for guests seeking for a relaxed BBQ dinner where the poolside setting offers a quieter night out in Bali.

The BBQ experience offers a wide range of freshly grilled selection

The Premium Private BBQ takes the experience further with a more refined menu suited to milestone celebrations. Starting from IDR 1,350,000 per person, it opens with oysters, tuna tartare, grilled scallops, and Wagyu beef tataki before moving to charcoal-grilled striploin, lamb cutlets, rock lobster tails, jumbo prawns, whole reef fish infused with Balinese spices, and slow-smoked brisket. Carefully chosen accompaniments, artisan breads, signature sauces, and elegant desserts complete a BBQ where every course shapes a memorable dinner in Bali.

The poolside setting ensures a calmer and more intimate dining experience

Beyond the menu, the appeal lies in the atmosphere itself. Removed from the bustle of larger restaurants, Jejala Pool Bar allows the evening to unfold at its own pace, with freshly grilled dishes arriving between easy conversation beneath the open sky. Optional beverage packages further personalise the occasion, creating a BBQ experience where dinner becomes less about the timetable and more about the people gathered together under the timeless charm of Bali in Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali.
