Orihara brings us its largest tasting to date in the Sake Festival Singapore. Finger food will accompany the sampling of over 200 limited editions and seasonal autumn sake, from 29 participating boutique breweries. Singapore Wine Fiesta by The Straits Wine Company returns for its seventh edition from 23-26 October. With over 6,000 visitors last year, the lively event has outgrown its cramped quarters; punters will be pleased with the more spacious set-up at Clifford Square this year that will see 70 visiting winemakers and over 300 wines available for sampling and sale. Each day sees 10 free masterclasses on topics such as North and South American wines, pairing wine with local food, and viticulture. One-day entry $55 nett from SISTIC. www.winefiesta.com.sg

The Masters of Wines and Spirits collection will be unveiled by DFS Group on 8 November. Over 30 Armagnac, Cognac, Scotch whiskies and baijiu are part of the collection of 80 pieces from 65 legendary houses, meticulously gathered by DFS’ experts in the largest and most diverse edition yet of this annual event. In the lead-up, The Macallan is showcasing 58 print photographs at the T Galleria by DFS store from 1-31 October, with a tasting booth for shoppers. From 8 November, the Masters collection will be exhibited at DFS stores at Changi Airport, where customers can get a closer gasp at pieces such as the 45 Years of Château Margaux Magnum Collection and The Dalmore 45 Year Old.
