All eyes are cast on Pollen restaurant, as Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton and restaurateur Loh Lik Peng take their synergistic partnership up another level.

If there was ever a cast for a culinary remake of The Fantastic Four, the team at Pollen would be it. First on the list of credits: Jason Atherton, who proved within six months of opening his flagship restaurant, Pollen Street Social in London, that he didn’t need to hide under the cloak of former mentor Gordon Ramsay to snag his own Michelin stars. Then there’s executive chef Colin Clague, who was part of the pre-opening team of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, as well as from award-winning izakaya-inspired restaurants, Zuma in London and Dubai—a star in his own right. Add elBulli and Noma alumni, Andres Lara, to the role of executive pastry chef and—with the backing of hotelier/restaurateur Loh Lik Peng—the trio is ready to spin some serious magic in the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. (At press time, Pollen is expected to open on 29 June).
