Halloween: trick or treat

Marriott Café
With trick-or-treat trails for the little ones to follow and collect candy, and mini carved pumpkins to take home, Sunday Brunch is an affair even the children will enjoy. A special kid-friendly spread features bat wings (BBQ chicken), severed fingers (mozzarella sticks) and worm stew (spaghetti napolitana). The little ones will like the orange jello and Jack O Lantern cookies while adults can indulge in crème brulee and bread pudding for dessert after tucking into seafood and charcuterie platters.
31 October. $45/$85 for children/adults.

Nazt Bistro Lounge
Chef Alvin Tan is reining in the horror fiesta with a Macabre Dinner featuring: Slime of Swamp (cream of pumpkin soup); Maggot Infested Salmon (pan-fried salmon with seasonal vegetables); and Cyclop’s Grave (strawberry crumble). Lurid cocktail concoctions of Witch’s Brew and Brain Haemorrhage complete the eerie evening’s tone. Guests are encouraged to dress as horror movie characters—the best-dressed participant wins Nazt dining vouchers and apparel from Cork (a local fashion boutique) worth $1,000.

Get a ride on the safari tram that ventures into the zoo’s “doomed grounds” where planted heart-stopping scares come to life. The dining experience at the Ulu Ulu Safari Terrace includes a bloody beetroot and tomato soup, Monster’s Hand Shepherd’s Pie and Death By Chocolate Brownie (piped with white R.I.P letters in vanilla for added effect). Your dinner comes with complimentary Goblin’s Blood cranberry mocktail, petit four chocolates and The Devil’s Brew coffee or tea.
