Coffee Cartel

When an organisation claiming to be a cartel sets up a breezy coffee shop with cosy, pink-hued interiors and a super friendly crew, you know something serious is going down. This brand new boutique coffee house just off of Petitenget offers quality brews and plenty of excellent food, including superfood bowls, burgers and healthy takes on Indonesian classics, such as the Cauliflower Nasi Goreng. Aya Street

A Peruvian-Asian restaurant, bar and lounge located along the hip Petitenget lane, Aya Street is a new sanctuary for every island foodie and cocktail connoisseur. Salazón

Featuring industrial-chic interiors, a private dining room, a dry-aging showroom, a walk-in wine cellar and Bali’s only kitchen counter dining experience in addition to an open kitchen that reveals busy chefs curing, smoking and grilling. Every offering at Salazón is made on-site, from the dry-aged meat and fish, the sourdough bread and butter, to the charcuterie, tomato sauces, ice creams and pastries. For a hearty meal, go for the dry-aged beef tartare with four different cuts of beef, infused with cured beef fat, salt, pepper, chives, then served with eggplant crème, pickles and seaweed crackers. Chachara

Chachara is a new Mediterranean restaurant dedicated to celebrating the romance of Bali with fresh flavours vibrant colours. Stepping in, you’ll immediately notice a neon-orange, vintage combo-van bar, a BBQ deck and even a paella station to satiate your cravings. All 60 dishes on the menu were created with sharing in mind, including tapas, wood-fired pizzas and the signature El Willy paella. All of the ingredients are sourced locally, save for a few premium Spanish imports, with everything made in-house to emphasize on freshness.
