Lace Up for Change through Padma Run Bandung 2026

Set to take place on Sunday, 4 October, the upcoming Padma Run Bandung 2026 invites fitness enthusiasts to the cool highlands of West Java for a purposeful run centred on community and wellness. The return of annual Padma Run for 2026 edition is held exclusively in Bandung this year to mark the first anniversary of Padma Hotel Bandung.

Bearing the theme #LaceUpForChange, this year’s event serves as a collaborative Corporate Social Responsibility initiative across the Padma Hotels group, including sister properties: Padma Resort LegianPadma Resort UbudPadma Hotel Semarang, and Resinda Hotel Karawang. A portion of every registration fee for Padma Run Bandung 2026 will go directly to Sekolah Pendidikan Luar Biasa (SPLB) Anak dengan Hambatan Intelektual (Tunagrahita) in Cipaganti, Bandung. The raised funds will support vital educational opportunities and development programmes for children with intellectual disabilities.

The running event goes beyond the finish line with the cause that it supports

More than a fitness-focused event, #LaceUpForChange transforms every kilometre into an opportunity to support a meaningful cause. As participants across Indonesia take on the challenge, each step reflects not only physical endurance, but also a shared commitment to giving back.

“The hills and elevation changes along the course symbolise life’s journey, filled with ups and downs that test our resilience and determination. Just as every runner overcomes challenges to reach the finish line, we hope this event inspires participants to keep moving forward with optimism and purpose. Together, every step can create meaningful change,” expressed Desiree Merlina, race director and corporate director of marketing communications at Padma Hotels.

The event features scenic 5K and 10K categories for runners of all levels

Padma Hotel Bandung acts as the start and finish lines with the route featuring 5K and 10K categories, winding through the scenic hills and rolling roads of North Bandung. Expected to welcome more than 1,061 participants ranging from casual runners to seasoned athletes, the event promises an engaging morning finished with official race jerseys, finisher medals, and cash prizes for podium winners.
